Here's What Happening in October!

Here's part of the eleven acres that we are in the process of buying. To the right, there are about five acres of woods. Bruce has recently mown a path through the woods, so every time we go out to Utica, we walk through the woods with Graham and his new Baby Bjorn. He LOVES it. We can't wait to build a house in this field so Graham can enjoy this view every day.

Great Grandmother Lucy turned 81 this month. The celebration wasn't as big as her surprise 80th birthday party, but we had a nice Chinese dinner. I wish I had a close-up of the cookie cake. Nathan and I decorated it with icing from Kroger. Lucy praised our talent - I think that's what Grandmother's are supposed to do.

Took our first overnight trip to Lexington this past weekend to visit AJ and Jenny, and Graham attended his first UK tailgate. After walking down the ramp in the parking deck, the boys discovered that the cooler full of beer and ice was pretty heavy. Solution - put Graham in the carrier and the cooler in the stroller. Genius! We were judged all the way to the stadium.

Happy Halloween!

  1. Love all the photos! I used to do the same thing at the farmer's market with Auden and her stroller.
