While I was searching through the pictures on our computer for images for my new Blogger header, I started to notice a pattern in the Lyndsey-only pics. I'm the one who usually takes all of the pictures, so it's rare to find shots of just me. Here are the ones I stumbled across. I think it's clear what they all have in common. Gross.

Office Additions
Okay. Here's the office in the back of the first floor of the house. To the left is a closet and the door to the back yard. Now that we have the internet (YAY!), we'll be using this room often. Waiting on slipcovers for two armless chairs we inherited from Nathan's grandmother to put in this room in front of the bookshelves. Is that weird? Nathan said he was excited to get the chairs ready so we'll have a "reading room." Still need a rug.
Guess how much this desk cost?....$.68!!!! My brother-in-law, Eric, poured the concrete top for our desk, and I had a $100 rebate card that bought the filing cabinets. Perfect! I love the canvases but they are just sitting on existing screws right now. Need to find something else to go on the wall with them. Also need a new desk chair. Any ideas on what to put on the wall with the two bright canvases? What about a square mirror the same size between them?
So, this old metal cabinet was left by the dumpster by the previous owners of the house. I got around to fixing it up at the end of the summer. Washed it, painted it, added new wheels and a cork top. Not too shabby. Gotta hang the 280 Boogie poster. A little memento from Alabama.Friday, August 27, 2010
Owl Release
Owls released last weekend by the Rapture Center where Nathan volunteers. Three owls named Alvin, Simon, and Theodore.
